Our laboratory is focused on using mass spectrometry-based proteomics to discover new biology and therapeutic targets in hematologic malignancies (blood cancers) and genetic disease.

Welcome to the Lee Lab. For the past several years, my research has focused on the mechanisms by which mesenchymal stem cells (MSC) may normalize alveolar epithelial permeability and fluid transport in animal and human models of acute lung injury (ALI), including a novel ex vivo perfused human lung preparation injured by endotoxin or bacteria, in collaboration with Michael Matthay, MD.
